Canadian Currency

Let me tell you a little about the money I use every day.

I live in a smaller city called Sudbury which is located in Ontario, Canada. (see red star)

Our money is quite colorful. Each bill is a different color.

Our currency is called a dollar. We used to have 1 dollar bills and 2 dollar bills but they have changed to coins in the past 2 decades. My papa had saved one and gave it to me for my collection.

Hi! My name is Kolter. I'm 10 years old and I'm collecting money from around the world.

I started collecting foreign money because I thought it was interesting to see all the different kinds of money from all over the world. My friends think all the bills are cool.

I use the map to show me where the money has come from and to keep track of all the different currencies.

So far I have 39 bills from countries all over the world but I still have a lot to collect.

I have had many people give me bills for my collection but I also go to our local bank to try get new ones but it always depends on where people have gone on trips. I hope one day my map will be full.
